Description: The back leg of the Vickleby Chair rises from the floor as one piece before it splits into two, creating a dramatic arching form. The apparently simple form is achieved through a complicated process of steaming, splitting, and bending around a form. This chair gets its name from the Swedish village I lived in while studying at the Capellagarden School of Craft & Design.
